Despite the cottage character of most of the house, the rear extension wanted a more contemporary feel and so we designed it with cleaner lines but still with casual family living in mind. We’ve incorporated lift-up hinges concealed rubbish and recycling areas, and plenty of storage. Here we are visiting the new kitchen in the joiner’s factory, then it arrives on site the next day.
