Good morning, everybody – it’s concrete day! Exciting and stressful all in one. Later today, we’ll be burnishing the surface. In a day or two, we can walk all over the new slab to get a better feel for the final dimensions of the space. Let’s hope we got the shape and size of the island bench right – once the concrete is in, those pipes are going nowhere.
