Before we can move forward, we need to remove the asbestos sheeting that was hiding beneath the weatherboards. In Australia, asbestos kills more people than die in car accidents every year and is present in an estimated 1 in 3 of our homes (ref: ABC RN Background Briefing 14/7/2018).
