How’s this for a transformation! It starts with getting the plumbing layout right (those necessary poo-pipes), moving on to wall framing and lining, then to waterproofing, tiling and final fixout. Bathrooms in Australia are commonly tiled to ceiling height, reflecting contemporary trends. Whilst this does certainly give a cleaner, neater look there are other options. In this case, we chose tongue and groove lining boards for the bathroom (except for the shower recess) to keep in character with the original cottage style of the house.
