Let the breeze in
With a combination of small, disconnected rooms and a complete lack of insulation (anywhere in the house), the original house was unbearably hot, especially for summer sleeping. But with a fantastic vented gable window upstairs and glass louvre windows elsewhere in the house, we’ll be using the stack principal to draw air through the house, up and out. Don’t you just “louvre” it? 😊
